Galilee Medical Center is proud to announce the opening of the Rheumatology Division, another expansion of healthcare services for northern residents of Israel.

Meet Dr. Ziv Paz, Head of our new #Rheumatology Division and Dr. Mohammad Naffaa, a Board Certified Rheumatologist in the Division. The Rheumatology Division specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of rheumatic diseases which involve joints, tendons, ligaments and muscles.
Rheumatic diseases encompass a large spectrum of diseases including inflammatory conditions like Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA), Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE), as well as conditions caused by wear and tear like Osteoarthritis, Tendinitis and many more.

In addition to general rheumatology, Dr. Paz leads multidisciplinary teams in super specialized clinics including the Lupus Clinic.
Similar to all Galilee Medical Center's Outpatient Clinics, the division serves patients from all over the Galilee and welcomes soldiers and patients from other regions in Israel; the Division works with all the major health funds (Kupot Cholim).

In addition to its outpatient clinics, the Rheumatology Division offers other services including inpatient consultation to all of Galilee Medical Center's hospitalization departments as well as its state of the art Rheumatology Treatment Center which is run by highly trained nursing staff and equipped to administer cutting edge biologic treatments.

Moreover, the Rheumatology Division is academically affiliated with Bar-Ilan University Faculty of Medicine in the Galilee.

The Rheumatology Outpatient Clinic is open five days a week, Sunday through Thursday, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and is located in the Outpatient Clinic Building on the second floor.
