Surgery B Department and Spinal Surgery

The spine unit treats all problems of the cervical, dorsal and lumbar spine, such as herniated discs, spinal canal narrowing, scoliosis and other sprains, various fractures and injuries, oncological surgeries of the spine and more. The unit also offers minimally invasive treatments and spinal injections as an alternative to open surgery.

As a departmental policy, and despite the extensive surgical experience the department has, the doctors of the unit believe that in most cases it is preferable to apply conservative treatment before resorting to surgery; therefore, the team successfully treats many cases without the need for surgery.
